Congratulations to the 2010 winners of the “My Guide To Miami Beach”, sponsored by the Miami Beach Visitor and Convention Authority (VCA). Students from Miami Beach Public Schools created “tour guides” to show off their hometown city for tourists visiting Miami Beach and those within their age groups. These guides gave “insider information” as a local on what there is to do, see, eat, and enjoy in their hometowns of Miami Beach. “We want our youth to grow up appreciating the fact that they are stewards of a great treasure that people travel from around the world to see and experience” says Miami Beach Mayor Matti H. Bower.
